Six storytellers.
Six generations.

Generation Women® creates space for intergenerational connection and community.

At our seasonal live show, six storytellers of note share an original, true story on a theme. Of those performers, one is in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s+.

Generation Women blends a lively literary salon with the tradition of handing down wisdom from community elders. Join us around the matriarchal campfire for an intimate seasonal event that celebrates the hearts and minds of many. Alongside cis women, we cast all gender expressions including non-binary folk and trans women.

Theme: Of A Certain Age: Stories about Getting Older

Aging is inevitable, but it’s also full of surprises. What does it really mean to get older? We’ve asked our storytellers to reflect on this journey. Whether they’re navigating the unpredictability of their 30s, embracing the freedom of their 50s, or finding peace in their 80s, each story offers a unique window into the adventure of aging. Some may recount tales of unforgettable firsts or lessons from their ever-changing bodies. Others might share the joy of discovering new passions or the hilarity of grappling with technology. From the thrill of breaking societal expectations to the simple pleasures of daily life, expect stories that are insightful, candid, and relatable. Whatever the age, each storyteller brings a perspective that reminds us there’s always more to learn and more life to live.

“It’s easy to see why women are so inspired by these cross generational events.”

- Marie Claire
